Snood pattern how to#
The diagram patterns are great for those who are happy with the stitches and also fabulous for helping to visualise how a project should form - this is how I figured out how to start my pattern! The written ones are great, I think, when you are learning as it's very easy to reference the stitches. You may, or may not, be aware that there are at least 2 methods of pattern writing in crochet the written patterns and the pattern diagrams. So my first vintage inspired project (aside from doing the hair and make up) is creating a snood! I absolutely love some of the free vintage patterns you can readily find online but most of them were knitting and I am not adept (yet) at knitting so I decided I wanted to go down the route of crocheting myself one.
